My Bio

Hi, I'm Travis.

I'm a graduate student studying Educational Psychology.

I study thinking and learning and the nature of thought and mind like any typical student.

A lot of my interests pertain to media such as film, literature, music, art, academics, video games, etc. I basically like to do lots of research for primary sources, regardless of whether or not they're popular, obscure or talented. I do literature reviews on bibliography sources.

My main interests pertain to anime, manga, video games, literature, music and quality film/tv and evaluating the overall fundamental abstract storytelling models and politics that drives them all. I like to appreciate the historical lineage timeline of their contributions over time.

First of all, I know it's been a while, and school has been keeping me busy. So first off, I want to say happy New Years. Things have been busy with school which is why I haven't been around as much lately. Thank the Lord for all A's last semester. As it is, this semester is already more challenging as it is compared to the last one. So things have not necessarily been as good as I'd hoped. I have been once again reviewing back on my life and choices I've made. Some good, most bad. And as I look back on the ignorant naive former self, I have come to a point where I recognized my character was very defective from the very start. I was a big arrogant snob. When I first started off in this field and many other ones in the past, I obviously had no clue as to what it was I was getting myself into. And in all honesty, I've gone in a direction in my life I feel and believe might be a life calling of mine. But at the same time, I think my naive ignorant self, being on the internet was

As I type this message out very heavy set; chances are, I would have already moved out and moved to my new place and location. I'd be a liar if I told you I wasn't emotional over the entire thing; but, I have been. For a long time now. This past Sunday and today was indicative to me of that. After having spent the last 2/3 of my life here the last 23 years since the age of 11 at Palmhurst, TX; I'm finally moving up to College Station to work on and finish my masters in Educational Psychology. I'm more than likely going to go for the 60+ Ph.D program to boot. Either way; this has been a very difficult and yet brooding time for me. I've always anticipated this day for the last 16 years since I graduated high school. I started drawing alot of Sonic fan art and just kept evolving over time. My values, character, nature; alot of things about me have changed. There's honestly really nothing left for me here anymore. Everyone I knew is gone. Friends, family, you name it. With the belief

I know that out of the many years I have started an account here 15 years ago on my 18th Birthday and have migrated and changed names multiple times until I have finally settled on something that kinda worked for me and weeded out what didn't. Life in general is really a series of trial and error, and in a sense, I can reflect on my life nearly half my life ago and look back on what worked and what didn't and what's changed and hasn't. In general, even my life's work so far has kinda been like that. My work ethic, or rather, my outlook on is has changed, as well as my expectations and understanding of the world around me. When I first started on this journey before undergraduates, I never really expected to go in wanting to be a teacher. Anything professional was honestly the last thing on my mind in all honesty. But like anyone that is young, naive and ignorant about the dangers of the world around them, despite not recognizing the faultiness of their own intuitive judgements and
